How to take a screenshot in Win 7 and 8

STEP 1- This process is very simple and easy(p.s-No software required).To capture a screenshot just press (Prt sc) button in your key board.Nothing will show up,just go directly to paint and press the combination (Ctrl+V).Here's a screenshot of my Desktop window in paint

 After this simply save this file and choose your favourite Format.That's it

how to hide and unhide folders in windows 8

• STEP 1 Select the folder you want to hide.For e.g-New Folder and then right click on it .After that navigate to properties 
   
• STEP 2- After clicking on properties a new tab will open up and on there go directly to Attributes and check the Hidden option which was previously unchecked. 
  
  After that click on apply button followed by ok.
• STEP 3 Now to hide it you have to go to the control panel and there you have to click on appearance and personalisation.
   After clicking on the following option navigate to Folder options and there click on show hidden files and folders.A new tab will open up and there by default you will see that show hidden files and folders is checked ,you only have to uncheck it and check on Don't show.
   after this click on apply followed by ok .That's it now your file is completely hidden and no one will be able to see it.
• STEP 4 To unhide it simply go to control panel and follow the same process and check on Show hidden files and folders.(Same process should be followed on Windows 7 too)

How to record game Videos and capture Screen Shots

There are many softwares available in the net but out of 10 I would personally recommend you to use Dxtory.There are unreasonable restrictions on many that you have to buy,you have to register,even if you happen to be registered the softwares only allow you to record game videos for 10-15 mins.Here I will give you this software where you will be able to use it unlimited...........(p.s-Free of cost too)

• STEP 2 Follow the onscreen instructions and install it.Insert the license file when prompted.
• STEP 3 Your Dxtory is now fully functional and ready
  
  to use.
• STEP 4 To capture screenshot click the keyboard icon and set your fab screenshot 
      
• STEP 4 Specify the folder to save the screenshots.Click the the folder icon and scroll down and select your folder for screenshots.
• STEP 5 For capturing movies and game videos ,you have to click the folder icon and there at the top you will find the option to to specify the folder to save videos.
• STEP 6 Minimize the Dxtory window and press F12 during game or movies to capture video.

But there is problem associated with this software which you will eventually find i.e the file size of captured videos can get terribly large which can TAKE UP THE WHOLE SPACE OF YOUR DRIVE.But there is a solution to it.

• STEP 7   DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL LAGARITH LOSSLESS VIDEO CODEC.Here's the link(http://lags.leetcode.net/codec.html).
• STEP 8 Exit Dxtory and again run it.Go to the Handycam icon and choose the above codec in Video codec
